Love What You Do and MAKE BIG BUCKS!!!

Money can't buy happiness. Every heard that one? Maybe it's true, but I know a lot of happy rich people. My theory is that happy rich people don't get rich and then buy happiness; I think that they do things that make them happy and make a lot of money doing while they're at it. See money doesn't buy happiness...happiness buys money!

What makes you happy? What would you do all day long if money weren't an object? Play golf? Make scrapbooks? Hang out with your dog? Talk to your friends? Imagine that you could spend all day doing what you loved and get paid to do it. Odds are, you would do it well and you would do it more thus increasing your earning potential while exponentially bolstering your happiness quotient. Translation: You'd be filthy rich and happier than you ever thought possible!

Steven Spielberg is obscenely wealthy. He has produced and directed many of Hollywood's top-grossing films. He has been making movies since he was a small child...not because he was getting paid gazillions of dollars, but because he loved to do it.

Bruce Springsteen is also obscenely wealthy. He loves to write songs, sing, play his guitar, and perform for throngs of screaming fans. It's all he ever wanted to do and he did it long ago for no money whatsoever. He still sometimes pops up in clubs throughout New Jersey and just performs for the "love" of it. No money involved.

Bill Gates is the wealthiest man in the world. He built his first computers in grade school and spent most of his high school years writing programs. He loved to do it. Nobody paid him to do it. He did it because he had a "thing" for computers. Look where he is today. What do you have a "thing" for?

Keep in mind these are examples of mega-wealthy people who are at the top of their industries. There are plenty of people in your neighborhood who are doing the same exact thing. They have dedicated themselves to doing what they love, and they are making themselves very wealthy in the process. Let's go back to the activities in the first paragraph. How can you make a comfortable living doing something you love to do?

Play Golf: No, not everyone can be Tiger Woods. However, there are thousands of registered professional golfers with the PGA tour. They are players, instructors, and business people. Their business is golf. Yes it's true that not all of them will win The Masters, but they are one step closer than you are.

Make Scrapbooks: Scrap booking is BIG BUSINESS!!! No lie! Women and men all over the country sink millions of dollars into scrap booking classes and supplies every year. If you love to scrapbook odds are you can make a good living opening a store or online supply center. You might also teach a class or help organize scrap-booking parties. Do what you love, let people know about it, and watch the money roll in.

Hang out with your dog: When I go out of town I often have to drop my dog off at the "kennel," or as my wife and I prefer to call it, "The Bed and Biscuit." Every now and then when we pull up we see the caretakers outside, surrounded by dogs, playing ball and getting kisses. And they gat paid for it! What better way for a dog lover to make a living than to take care of dogs? Trainers, groomers, specialty bakeries, doggie clothing makers...
