The United States of America will again dodge another Bullet during the beginning of this 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season. If you will recall Tropical Storm Alberto barely reached potential Hurricane force winds and was blown apart by fast moving North Easterly Trade Winds. Tropical Storm Alberto fell apart as it hit land but did flood South Carolina, Washington DC and further flooding was seen in MD, PA, DE and NJ.

Hundreds of thousands of people were evacuated with some areas receiving near recorded breaking flood levels in rivers and tributaries. Now we find Tropical Storm Beryl ready to move in an North Eastern direction with its center paralleling the coastline. Unfortunately is heading to brush the coastline of Nova Scotia.

This also means it will indeed impact the Massachusetts coastline and Cape Cod is sitting in what could be the thick of things late Thursday Night. Nevertheless all in all the United States has dodged another close miss bullet with Tropical Storm Beryl. Will it make Hurricane Status? Well, it could but it will be only for a while if it does and then as it moves up the coast it will come apart and retreat. However it does carry massive precipitation with it and some high winds very near or right at Hurricane Status. Consider all this in 2006.
