Aspartame - Dangerous To Your Health - Common in Many Foods

Author: Fred Fishburne

What is aspartame and where did it come form?

Aspartame is 50% phenylalanine, 40% aspartic acid and 10% methanol. Studies have shown that the components of aspartame are deadly. If Aspartame is stored for a long period, phenylalanine decomposes into diketopiperazine, which is a carcinogen. Studies show that Aspartic acid was used in an experiment, and was found to have caused holes in the brains of mice. Methanol is a toxin which, when stored in cool temperature, gives rise to formaldehyde in the body. Formaldehyde is used for embalming. Why anyone would use aspartame makes no sense, no sense at all.

Monsanto, based out of Saint Louis, Missouri is the maker of Aspartame. Monsanto was also the maker of Agent Orange and is presently providing most of the world Genetically Modified Seed (GMO).

Health Risks from Consuming Aspartame

Some studies show that phenylalanine, 50% of the makeup of aspartame, has neurotoxic effects when not taken with other amino acids. Common health risks form taking aspartame are memory loss, seizures, headaches, and stomach disorders to name a few. Deaths have also been linked to aspartame consumption.

One of the main ways people consume aspartame is through the sweetener Equal. It is also used in diet drinks and sports drinks. Aspartame has shown to cause weight gain. So why is it in diet drinks? Aspartame is a common ingredient in many foods. This is why every label must be read if aspartame is to be avoided.

Aspartame seems to have even more toxic effects in those with health conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Dont even think about giving aspartame to children. Pregnant and breast feeding women should avoid it like the plague.

So, why is aspartame still so widely used in the United States? Could the fact, that sixty six percent of Americans are obese have anything to do with it? Could it be, that people believe what they here on the news and advertisements, or is it because we still have our heads in the sand and do not want to know the truth?

Whatever the answer, people need to take control of their own health and well being and research anything intended to consumed by the body. The time is gone where one could believe the word of a doctor or government agency as final authority. Each individual has final authority over his or her own life.
