Footprints are a classic baby shower symbol, and a great choice for invitations. You see them all over the place, on baby clothes, baby room decorations, baby shower invitations and thank you cards. Theyre everywhere. So, it is only natural that you would want to include footprints in your baby shower decorations. I have come up with the easiest baby shower footprint invitation. It is inexpensive, quick, and like I said, very easy. Follow these steps and you will have an adorable, personalized, footprint baby shower invitation To create these invitations, you will only need a few supplies. First of all, you will need a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock for each of your invitations. You will also need a single hole punch, wide ribbon, a footprint rubber stamp, a rubber stamp ink pad, and a felt tip marker, or a computer and printer. The first thing that you will need to do is pick out your color scheme. Stamp pads and cardstock come in a wide variety of colors. Classic color schemes would be white cardstock with pink or blue ribbon and stamp pads. Once you have your colors picked, all you have to do is assemble your invitations. Your first step will be to stamp all of your cardstocks with your footprint stamp. If you have a large stamp you can simply stamp once in the center of your card, or if you have a small stamp you can stamp several feet all over your card. Next, you will need to punch two holes in the top, center of your card. Put your ribbon through the hole and tie a bow. After the ink dries it is time to put all of the information on your invitations. You have two choices here. You can either hand print all of the information with a coordinating marker, or you can set up the parameters on your printer, and print all of the information. (If you are going to print your invitations, you will need to do this before you tie on the ribbons) |
