Once upon a time there was a King who wanted to live forever. He knew that he desired the impossible, but he was very determined to change that. He called upon all of the witch doctors, medicine men, faith healers, spiritual healers, wizards, prophets, fortunetellers and anyone that he could think of - to give him the cure to eternal life.

No one could find such thing. No one could provide him with the cure. The King tried every remedy, treatment, drug, followed the advice from all of the healers, but nothing seemed to be guaranteeing the endless life.

The King was very sad and had lost all hope.

One day, an old man from the village nearby heard of the King's wish. He hurried to the King's palace. At the door, he told the guards that he had the solution for the King's desire.

The King was very happy to hear that. So, they let the old man in.

The King eagerly asked the old man to give him the solution. The old man without wasting a single minute, told the King: "If you want to live forever, you have to do something that the world will remember you by. Something so good that will touch many people's lives. That's how your legend will be transferred from generation to generation. You will live in people's hearts and memories for ever and ever."

Taking into account the entire earth's population, there are only a handful of people whose legends will live forever because of the good things they've done.
