Affiliate Program - Secrets Of The Big Dogs

Author: Michael Russell

Affiliate programs usually don't have a very long shelf life. Most are gone within a year or two. But every once in a while an affiliate program stands the test of time. One of these affiliate programs is Secrets Of The Big Dogs by Stan Stuchinski. You must know him. The bald headed guy? Yeah, that's him. Well, if you've been wondering what his program is all about and why it's lasted this long, we're going to give you an inside look.

Secrets Of The Big Dogs has been around for about 6 years now. The program itself is about the secret ways that the big gurus promote their products that they don't want you to know about, including how to get multiple streams of income by promoting just one URL. Sounds like a lot of hype when you first hear it, but when you dig into the system, there is actually quite a lot of substance to it.

The system basically works like this. You first buy the ebook itself, which sells for $19.95. Inside the book Stan gives you a number of FFA sites to join. The premise is this. If you join these sites and send your auto responder message to the people who post to FFA pages, they will see your message and there is then a good chance that they will buy whatever it is you are selling. The secret is to sell the Big Dogs book itself. Why? Because if you do and people join all these FFA sites, they join under you. What then happens is that you get all these checks each month from all these FFA sites because of all the people who joined under you. Thus, you promote one URL, the Big Dogs ebook and get about 10 checks a month. It's actually quite ingenious when you think about it.

A lot of people knock the system for a variety of reasons. One of them is that the program is too old and nobody would be interested in it anymore. To dispute that claim, to this day, six years after the book first came out, it still sells over 1200 copies a month. So obviously people are still coming into the marketplace who haven't heard of Big Dogs or they did hear of it and are finally jumping on board.

Another knock on the system is that FFA Hosting isn't as good as it was years ago. Most of the new marketers are more informed than they were and because of this they don't post their ads thinking that anybody is actually going to see them. They post them to send out their own auto responder. Thus, what you have is the battle of the auto responders, which in some cases is true. But there are still viable contacts out there. The 1200 sales a month is proof of that.

You're never going to make a lot of money with Big Dogs because of all the competition out there. But you can easily make about $1200 a month. Not bad for about 30 minutes work each day.
